RCV Systems Tech 4th Shift

The primary function of this position is to support all systems, including network servers and WiFi controllers. This position supports both Company and Union associates in a piece work environment.
Provides full support of systems for break/fix, install, moves, adds, changes and preventative maintenance
Responsible for a large WiFi environment supporting a large quantity of mobile devices used by Union Associates in a piece work environment.
Performs system backups and recovery for onsite servers and WiFi controllers. Monitors automated backups and procedures to ensure data integrity
Installing, configuring, and upgrading PC's, laptops and related equipment diagnosing and troubleshooting both common and unusual hardware and software problems, performing preventive maintenance on the organization's PC equipment, installing required software patches and ensuring the connectivity of PC's laptops, handhelds and other computing devices to both the local area network (LAN) and the wide area network (WAN), setting up and maintaining locally connected and networked printers.
Analyze and resolve any problems with the AS/400 system and the network communications hardware supporting both LAN/WAN and AS/400 traffic.
Performs troubleshooting and diagnostic on all computer equipment (including but not limited to RF Equipment, PC's Printers, WiFi Controllers , Switches, and wiring)
Coordinates all warranty and service calls with manufacturers or warranty groups - specifically Paxar/Monarch, Symbol/Motorola, IBM and Phone Company.
Perform maintenance of all phone and hardware equipment with support from Telecommunications Specialist.
Train various end users on usage of PC software as needed (i.e. e-mail, printers, etc.)
Communicates timely status and all relevant project information to appropriate personnel. (Via: Incident tracking, and reporting software. Logging all tasks and keeping all information up to date)
Support all facilities technically via travel and phone support as needed for coverage.
Provide Carhartt''s clients with an efficient channel of communication and seek to restore normal service operations as quickly as possible.
Develops, maintains, and widens relationships with clients and vendors to gain credibility.
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to demonstrate client's expectations have been met or exceeded
Post High School Technical training required
Minimum of 5 years' experience required
A+ Hardware and OS and Network+ certifications required
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in related field and CCENT, and CCNA certifications preferred
Distribution environment; cubicle setting
Lifting of a minimum of 35 lbs.
On-Call as needed (24hrs/7days) duties rotated through the department.
Up to 30% travel possible

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
