The primary function of this position is to process waves of orders accurately, by monitoring stock and communicating with production supervisors.
Analyze wave requests from outside functional areas & communicate to appropriate functional areas
Plans and tracks waves based on guidelines established by wave management processes
Analyzes each wave to ensure accurate order criteria has been established
Create and/or revises spreadsheets for appropriate reports as assigned
Responsible for timely beginning of all waves
Assist in establishing and maintaining safety, housekeeping and preventive maintenance guidelines in assigned areas
Timely reports and communicates problems in work area to appropriate personnel & departments
Responsible for ensuring each job performed is within set procedural work methods.
Conform to all requirements of internal & external Carhartt customers
Accurate order criteria established for each wave
Analyzes wave requests in a timely manner to communicates appropriately to other areas
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic computer skills required. Microsoft Office preferred
Experience with Excel spreadsheets required
Normal office environment, cubicle setting
Distribution Environment
Ability to routinely lift up to 65 pounds
Union Environment/Non-union position
Ability to read fine print for extended periods of time
