Technical Maintenance - 4th Shift - Hanson, KY

The primary function of this position is to provide day to day maintenance and upkeep of the Conveyor Control System. This includes implementing a preventive maintenance schedule for the conveyor system, and ordering and storing conveyor and lift truck spare parts/equipment.
Responsible for day to day maintenance and upkeep of the Conveyor Control System
Responsible for implementing preventive maintenance schedule for conveyor system
Responsible for ordering and storage of conveyor & lift truck spare parts/equipment in a neat manner
Assist in establishing and maintaining safety, housekeeping and preventive guidelines in assigned areas
Responsible for timely reporting of problems in work area to appropriate personnel
Responsible for ensuring each job performed is within set procedural work methods
Conform to all requirements of internal and external Carhartt customers
Responsible for the maintenance & upkeep of all SRT/Lift truck equipment in the facility
Maintains all SRT/Lift truck equipment
Maintains Conveyor Control System to ensure proper operation at all times
Orders and maintains inventory in a timely manner
High school diploma required.
1-2 years Technical Maintenance experience required
Programming experience preferred
Electrical troubleshooting skills required
Basic computer skills.
Ability to deal with stress in a composed and constructive manner
Ability to positively interact with other associates
Ability to adjust to doing multiple tasks
Ability to work in a job with precise tolerances and standards
Testing may be required for this job
Must be able to read/speak/write English
Distribution environment
Union environment / Non-Union position
Ability to routinely lift/push 65 lbs.
Ability to work with precise tolerances
Ability to work at heights up to 65 feet
Safety requirements for the SRT Equipment: 300 pound weight limit.
Available to take call
Flexibility to schedule changes on short notice to meet business needs
