Overview:
The primary function of this position is to support picking associates by providing alternate locations of garments. This includes monitoring and ordering stock
as appropriate.
Representative
Responsibilities:
Directs associates to alternative pick locations when available
Adjusts active locations (only when stock is used for H cartons)Orders stock from reserve
Communicates with Hi-Bay Supervisor, advising which aisle stock was tasked
Assist in establishing and maintaining safety, housekeeping and preventive guidelines in assigned areas
Timely reports of problems in work area to appropriate personnel
Ensures each job performed is within set procedural work methods
Conform to all requirements of internal & external Carhartt customers
Key Performance Indicators:
Maintains appropriate stock for the reserve area to provide continued work flow
Appropriately and timely directs associates to alternative pick locations
Entry Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to read fine print for extended periods of time
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to multiple task and prioritize
Working Conditions:
Distribution environment
Union environment/Non-union position
Occasional lifting up to 65 pounds
