Overview:
The primary function of this position is to audit 6-8% of all incoming shipments and to audit all internal departments for outgoing shipments. This includes documenting and reporting all errors.
Representative
Responsibilities:
Performs accuracy audits on incoming and outgoing shipments and document all errors
Monitor reserve and active inventory by manually counting stock
Randomly audit pickers for quantity, style size errors, neatness, packing slips
Randomly audit special handlers for quality, style, size errors and customer requirement errors such as price tickets, hangers, and poly bags
Audit 6-8 percent of incoming shipments. To verify the case has correct style, size, count, weight, and volume, recording errors and modifying vendors
Randomly audit internal freight to verity that each pallet for shipment is located correctly and have the correct carbons on it
Verify all foreign customers with the correct county of origin code for each garment
Randomly audits palletized and loose loads to verify that all shipments are documented correctly. Load sheet and BOL's are correct before being shipped.
Responsible for randomly auditing several internal operations to report findings back to the department supervisors to help maintain quality awareness to meet requirements requested by our customers
Verifies Key List for error and inspecting garments to meet internal and external customers' requirements in all auditing areas
Assist in the cycle count department so that both the auditing and cycle counting departments can accomplish tasks correctly and efficiently
Responsible for timely reporting of problems in work area to appropriate personnel
Assist in establishing and maintaining safety, housekeeping and preventive guidelines in assigned areas
May possibly be required to obtain SRT certification and have the ability to work at heights up to 65 feet

Entry Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Basic Computer Skills required
Microsoft Office products experience preferred
Warehouse and Distribution Center environment experience preferred
Experience in quality, auditing, or cycle counting preferred
Working with inbound/outbound inventory processes preferred
Working Conditions:
Distribution environment
Union Environment/Non-union position
Ability to work at heights up to 65 feet
Ability to routinely lift up to 65 pounds
Excessive walking and standing for extended periods of time
Safety requirements for the SRT Equipment: 300 pound weight limit.
